It was the very early morning hours of April 1st, 1990, a semi-truck was parked alongside Interstate 10 in Casa Grande, AZ, with the hazard lights on.  An Arizona state trooper noticed the rig, and something about it caught his attention.  Did the driver need help?  He cautiously approached the driver’s side....no one was there.  He thought he heard a noise.... coming from the sleeper cab, so the officer stepped on the runner and shone his flashlight in.  To his horror, he saw a naked, bound and severely beaten woman chained to the wall of the truck. The woman began screaming. Suddenly, the flashlight also caught a man’s face that appeared from the darkness, and the man calmly told him, “It’s all right, Officer.  Everything is fine”.
What the officer did not know on that early morning, was that he arrested one of the most brutal and sadistic serial killers in the United States, named Robert Benjamin Rhoades....also known as The Truck Stop Killer.  The ensuing investigation would take years, about as long as Rhoades was killing.  Welcome to Episode 32--The Unforgotten Victims of Robert Benjamin Rhoades.
